TischPDX exists to strengthen and lift up the leadership offerings of all Jewish activists and organizers in Portland Oregon and beyond as we are able. We were created outside the establishment and we will continue to stand in that place, recognizing all as equally precious and equally necessary to a better shared future. The Board of TischPDX and its staff will continue to carry out its mission to seek out and lift up the marginalized voices that make us a better community, and yes, we are committed to the ideals symbolized by the term DEI.
TischPDX recognizes that all of us are capable of tikkun olam, action toward a better world. Toward that end we will offer leadership from our community and beyond in this space.
